Alton Heartwood

Alton Heartwood (formerly Alexan Heartwood) is a multi-family building located in the Issaquah Highlands neighborhood in Issaquah, Washington. The building is 5 stories, 135 units, and 240,000 square feet with 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartment units and townhomes. Its scenic location and close walking distance to the local shopping centers make it attractive for renters desiring the suburbs. ​

The project faced several unusual circumstances during the construction phase. The initial general contractor, UEB, was acquired by Katerra at the beginning of the project. Katerra then filed for bankruptcy a few months before the scheduled TCO date, and Trammell Crow Residential brought in Graham Construction to close out the project. ​Our team proudly worked through the unique situation to provide Trammell Crow with a great looking product.

The project features Sherwin-Williams SW 9171 Felted Wool on the painted exterior fiber cement panel and the gorgeous ZAR Dark Chocolate Truffle oil-based stain on the townhome entry doors.
